Celista Springs Ranch participates in three certification programs to ensure consumer confidence in our products. It is our hope, that by participating in these programs, it will make us, as producers, more accountable to you, the consumer of healthy food.

The BC Verified Beef Program (VBP), the SPCA Farm Animal Program (Beef & Pork only), & the BC Environmental Farm Plan.

The Verified Beef Production program (VBP) provides the producer with education, guidelines, and standards for our beef management program that ensures accountability on our behalf by verifying acceptable identification, traceability, & feed/health management processes are in place.

The SPCA Farm Animal Program monitors our animal husbandry practices employed in day to day care of all animals on the farm. The SPCA certification process currently only covers the beef and pork in our program, but we hope that they will soon have a sheep program as part of their certification process.

The BC Environmental Farm Plan program is offered in partnership with the provincial and federal governments to provide the producer with the education and tools, along with a standardized approach to evaluate, plan, and implement changes in their farming practices to ensure that they are safe & environmentally friendly.
